awakening: an effect that can only be used during the awakening phase. (can only be used if the unit is active)

banish: banishing a card removes it from play entirely.

high strike: When a unit with High strike attacks, the attack pauses until the unit's owner chooses to: Attack the opponent’s life points directly, or Attack the unit in front as usual.

ongoing: A continuous effect that remains active as long as the unit is on the battlefield.

on play: Triggers when the unit enters the battlefield.

on flip: Triggers when a face down unit flips face up.

regenerate: at the start of your turn, unit regains 1 health. a unit can only regenerate health up to the original health displayed in that unit’s stats.

stun: stunning a unit will make it so that the stunned unit won’t be able to attack or use their awakening ability on their turn. the stun effect will go away the turn after, and the stunned unit can finally awaken again.

split strike: units with split strike can attack multiple lanes at once during the attack phase. the directions it can attack will be shown in the card.

pierce: When a unit with this ability attacks, excess damage carries over. If attacking a unit, excess damage spills into the backline unit, if there is one. If there is no backline unit, excess damage is dealt directly to the opponent’s life points.

shielded: unit enters with a shield token.Whenever a unit with a shield token would be destroyed, remove the token instead.

trap: trap abilities can only be activated by units that are face down in the backline. for a trap ability to trigger, a condition has to be met first, the condition will be displayed in the card.

movement

below are the different types of movement:

Move to an Open Space: The unit can only move to an unoccupied spot in the Frontline.

Swap Positions: The unit must switch places with another unit on their side of the field. The destination space must be occupied.

Move to any space: The unit can move to any available spot in the Frontline, whether occupied or unoccupied. If it moves to an occupied space, it swaps positions with the unit already there.
